Nordics Ground & Terminal Operations Manager for MSC Cruises (m/f/d) in Hamburg

Profil
  • Supervise the delivery of the services at the designated area of operations, including check-in, luggage dropoff, screening, boarding, transfers and disembarkation
  • Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, transportation and equipment, to ensure that all operational requirements are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Guest Services, Port Operations and Shore Excursions to ensure that guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience at all touchpoints
  • Coordinate with external partners, including port & terminal agents, ground providers, and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and positive guest experiences
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols, customs and immigration requirements, and port regulations
  • Design and organize in coordination with the NOR Ground & Terminal Operations Product Manager the training and coaching to Ground & Terminal Local staff to ensure that they can perform their duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Analyze operational data and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary
  • Monitor and report on the performance of Ground & Terminal operations, including guest satisfaction, efficiency, and financial performance
  • Organize and plans the operations in terms or back office and information related to the calls, coordinating with the ship's staff and local partners

Wir bieten
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in Ground & Terminal operations in the cruise or hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of Ground transportation operations and regulations, as well as cruise terminal operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of operational staff
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners
  • Fluency in English, German and any additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays and willingness to travel up to 50%
