About the company

The role is a Key Finance Business partner to the Engineering and Digital departments, providing financial oversight and driving performance transparency across the group

Aufgaben

• Own and ensure accuracy of Engineering & Digital financial closing, including validation of accruals, cost allocations, and capitalization logic, in full compliance with Group Controlling standards
• Lead financial planning and forecasting cycles for Engineering & Digital, including operational reviews and close alignment with Engineering leadership, Group FP&A, and other Finance teams
• Independently validate planning assumptions, differentiate most likely vs. best-case scenarios, and proactively identify financial risks, constraints and improvement opportunities
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to Engineering & Digital management, providing constructive challenge and decision-oriented recommendations
• Drive financial transparency across Engineering & Digital, identify cost optimization levers and support informed decision-making through structured financial analyses
• Perform financial validation of R&D programs, including guidance on cost capitalization criteria and accounting treatment
• Support the annual R&D funding submissions to Austrian state authorities (FFG), ensuring financial accuracy, consistency and compliance
• Contribute to the redesign of BI and KPI reporting for Engineering & Digital, enabling scalable, transparent and insightful reporting solutions
• Continuously improve controlling processes, tools and governance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Qualifikationen

• Achelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• Relevant professional experience in controlling, finance, or accounting, ideally within an industrial, engineering, or technology-driven environment
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to link financial outcomes to operational performance drivers and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Confident communicator with assertiveness and stakeholder management skills, experienced in working across functions and management levels
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with financial systems and BI tools advantageous
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with recurring peak periods during closing and planning cycles
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong business-partnering attitude

Salary information

• The compensation for this position is at least 60.000 € gross per year. An overpayment is possible, depending on qualifications and experience
